Built in 19 before J.C., the Pont of Gard, is the goal of an unforgettable excursion which makes it possible to also discover Chartreuse of the Benedictines in Villeneuve-lez-Avignon, the towns of Nimes and Uzes.
Located within a natural framework the exceptionnal Pont du Gard is a Roman built aqueduct which fed the town of Nîmes with fresh water. Its size and its perfect conservation makes it very famous.
